Saw Shane at Carnegie Hall last night. He performed "Rainy Night in Soho" with horns and strings behind him. He came out with a plastic cup, what appeared to be an unopened bottle of wine, a seriously gray pallor, and a wobbly gait. It was another one of those performance where I sat there on the edge of my seat wondering was he going to make it through...and somehow he does despite breaking and dropping his mic twice during the song. At the end, I thought he was like the Capt. Sullenberger of rock-n-roll.The planes going to crash, but we're all going to survive. Even Shane for another night. Late, he came out and sang "Sweet Jane" with Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed and Gavin Friday and again held his own. The finale of the night, he strummed guitar to "The Jean Genie", while the rest of crew (including U2) sang. By the way he corrected Gavin Friday, who said the song came out in 1970.

Thanks for the review jimok580. Not sure how accurate this is, but found it on the Rolling Stone site. Dan is the person who posted.

I was just searching , nothing yet......If anyone has/sees any please post!

MIGHT BE A PROBLEM.....Youtube quote "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Carnegie Hall."

There were videos at Youtube, even some with Shane, alas everything was quickly removed because of that copyright claim by Carnegie Hall...
