This is an odd thread. Admittedly, I didn't read the whole thing -- just the last few posts. Biometrics have been collected for all of the Pogues. Various governments track them as they move about (you too, Spider). As for Shane's residence, I know the answer to that -- he lives in Miss Walshey's pocket. It is well documented. Save him??? You must be chilling guy. Why should someone try to "save" him? Save from what? He lives the life he wants, and no one has any right to interfere. I like Shane the way he is, anyway; I just would be happy to take a picture with my favourite singer and maybe drink a beer with him, so I'll have something interesting to talk about with my grandchildren, when I grow old. That's all, nothing less, nothing more.

Perhaps that is why the Pogues went nowhere when Shane went out.

The only reasonable outlook tween fan and the performer relationship is the shared experinece view of one makes the music the other listens to the music, it is shared experience but not personal. and they each need each other to create the experience. It needs to be more then just passive consumption like a movie.
