Do you mean the song?

It is from 2002, performed by Shane with the Celtic Chorus. Looks like it is still available here (V.A. - The Ultimate Celtic Album).

Lyrics can be found here.

The background story:
"I wrote that song with Phil Ferns and John McLaughlin (Westlife and Busted songwriters)," says Shane. "It was a real co-operative effort. I basically started thinking about the River Clyde and then the Liffey in Dublin and what was different about them."

"We were in McGinn's pub at four in the afternoon to write the song," remembers Glaswegian co-writer Phil Ferns. "At quarter past twelve that night the pub was closing and Shane decided that inspiration had finally arrived. Shane, John and I sat down with a guitar and thrashed out the song in about 15 minutes. At that point, John used his contacts to sort out a studio in Lenzie for that night. I think the guy in the studio was flabbergasted when he saw Shane and this drunken band fall into the studio in the early hours of the morning. I got the record pressed in London the next day to make the release date and we sold 32,000 copies in the first week. We even outsold Oasis."

(from 'Glasgow Belongs To Me' article published in the Evening Times, 2004 - now available here).

The Youtube video was obviously put together by a fan.

Tomorrow Belongs To Me is a b-side of The Best Days of Our Lives charity single (with all proceeds going to the NSPCC and a local cancer charity). The single itself celebrates the 35th anniversary of Celtic's victory in the European Cup, when they beat Inter Milan 2-1 in Lisbon in 1967 (and thus dubbed Lisbon Lions).

Shane is featured (along with Noel Gallagher, Rod Stewart, etc ) on The Best Day song and sings Tomorrow

There is an official video for The Best Days.

The single entered UK charts at #17 (May, 2002), the highest position is #16, I believe.

And the song is among 14 tracks of The Ultimate Celtic Album.

Cool guys. Thanks, I'd never heard of it. Just stumbled upon it last night.

Is the original recording as seemingly rough and cluttered as that one I linked to on youtube?
