We tabbed this with our band once

Paddy Public Enemy No1

Intro
C G C G C G CFC (2x)

C F C G
The chasing girls was easy and drinking been was fun
G C
And he went out one day and bought himself a gun,
C F C G
He shot a couple of coppers and he joined the IRA,
G C
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

C G
The Coppers in the north they couldn't catch him
C G
The British army they just couldn't touch him
F C F C
He shot a couple of coppers and he joined the IRA,
C G C
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

One day the knock came at the door, they hauled him away,
The IRA they kicked him out when he was still in jail
When he got outta jail he shouted up the IRA
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

The coppers in the North they couldn't catch him
The British army they just couldn't touch him
When he got out of jail he shouted up the IRA
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

The factions all were fighting
their deadly power game
He said fuck them all and left the INLA
Wherever there was trouble
there was Paddy and his gun
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

The coppers in the North they couldn't catch him
The British army they just couldn't touch him
When he got out of jail he shouted up the IRA
And the papers called him Paddy Public Enemy No 1

One day he tired of it all and hung away his gun
When he hung away his gun he became the hunted one
He went into a phone box to make a local call,
They shot him in the phonebox
splashin blood upon the wall

But when he hung away his gun he became the hunted one
And that was the end of Paddy Public Enemy No 1

Oirish, I think the tune to Nick Cave's "Lucy" is the same. Maybe you can find the chords to that online.

great oibservation Noel, had such oimpression too, so oi troied that toinoight actually after sendoin' the message here, oin the meanwhoile oi also asked Nick banjo player foir help; tois' a grand song, broilloiant lyroics, oi've doiscoivered oit noit loing ago oin raroitoies soimeoine coillected; oid put oit oin best Shaneo's, but seems tois' noit goiven enoiugh of deserved attention, oi thoiught tois' loikely that oi'll stay woithoiut an answer; very glad ye've seen thois question and even moire foir pointoin' to Lucy choirds

foirst attempts doidn't feel best but after loistenoin' boith songs, oit started to foit oin.. have to check the choirus and soime stuff futher moire, so oi guess oi'll be practoisoin' oit oin the foilloiwoin' days; em' choirds woill hoipefuly all be a coimplete match.

just been oin toiuch woith Nick, well, he mentioned soime choirds oi thoiught too just by loistenoin' ..
they are doifferent than "Lucy", maybe meloidy's same but choirds go doifferently, we'll see; but as
oi started, feels oi'll be moist loikely soingoin' Lucy choirds foir Lullaby

"...Hello?!"

"Hoi Noick Cave? Am Oi speokin' to Noick Cave?"

"Yeah, Nick speaking. Who are you? How did you get this number?

"Moi name ois OirishRover and it woas a series of incredibly, unloikely events that got me on the phone to you. But there's no toime to go into that now."

"Do you know what time it is in Australia right now?!"

"Thoat's reolly noit oimportant, Noick. Oit doesn't matter how little soense this makes. Loisten, I need smn's help with..."

"What? What the fuck are you talking about ?"

"Oi was joust woinderin' if ye'd help me woith Shaneo's brilloint song Chroistmas Lollabie? Oi caon't work out the chords, woith all me furious devotion."

"Boisterous Wallabie? What?"

After a time, things settled down and Oirish and Nick Cave became fast friends, later recording a duet of the old Louis Armstrong number 'Potato Head Blues'.

It is very odd indeed that Irish would be asking about chords to one of Shane's songs, which sounds very similar to a Nick Cave song, and mentioned talking to someone named "Nick", which we all know is a very peculiar name, but wasn't actually talking about Nick Cave....Could there be a 2nd "Nick"?
Maybe Irish isn't crazy! Maybe he is? I don't know. But I do know his "furious devotion" is not just a catch phrase.
Chords are: E A B
-Nick
