Following last year success there will be another Irish post-Christmas tour of Sharon Shannon, a host of exceptional musicians, and very special guest Shane MacGowan. The dates are:

I treasure mine so the only thing i am going to confirm voluntarily is there are plans. And they will remain plans until the band hits the stage. Much more so now, in August, when it's still 4 months till the tour and people still work on it. You see - no venue for Donegal yet, Cork date is on Sharon site but not on ticketmaster, confirmed Shane is on INEC site but not on Sharon's or ticketmaster..
If you cant just sit and wait patiently you may try and disturb venues, promoters, ticketmaster, etc..
Let slackers relax not!

While future is dim and uncertain and nobody can confirm what will happen and what will not, let's better look back at what has taken place and what can be safely stated:
Shane has done such gigs in Dec 2007 - Jan 2008.
Shane didnt miss a single guesting with Sharon during May - Aug 2008. Five gigs in total: Limerick, WOMAD, Portlaoise, Dungloe, Tralee.

Let's hope we'll live to see if he will make what has been planned for Dec 2008.

Mr Chevron can start apart from the music a travel agency; the pogues are very succesfull in movements of some popular music stars in time....certainly comparing to the time of the popes....ah well it is always a surprise who's there.......
