"De Valera warned me about this fucking thing television, yeah?"

That was truly great.

Thanks for posting this.

I like the way Henry justs lets his guests speak with out interrupting them. Too often in interviews with Shane the interviewer gets impatient with Shane's speech pattern and cuts him off mid sentence.

I will be watching tomorrow...

And in the revolving photo set, the guy labeled "Spider Stacy" looks an awful lot like Joey Cashman. I wonder how that happened?

It's becoz of whistle i believe.

Hank Rollins? The worst Black Flag singer ever, writer of poor, poor poetry and a total egomaniac. He called his band 'The Rollins Band' and his publishing company is 2:13:61 - his birthday. That said, would not fuck with him as he is clearly REALLY hard. Ron Reyes was the best Flag singer - check out 'Jealous Again' - now that is music with FEELING! Search and Destroy? Stay home, read a book.

Shane on Henry Rollins

Post Sat Jul 21, 2007 3:26 am

First words as Into to Dirty Old Town:
"Fuck Bush, bdldsfasdj, fljdsaflj. fljdfljas"
Can anyone translate what he actually said?

Great version of Dirty old town. I don't think Spider's gonna be too jealous of Joey.

To the best of my ability this is what he said...

"Fuck Bush, and right, your fucking doing the same thing all over again like you did in 'Nam and you don't even know what we did there so fuck it, fucking get rid of him"

Brilliant rant and perfomance...

I understood that as well. Brilliant. I LOVE how Shane says at the end "It's all up to you, right?" I took it to mean the US needs to make the right decision to get out of Iraq.

PS-Joey is a caca whistle player but Shane sounded great!! :D

Actually, though I haven't watched the clip, I can pretty much assure you Mac was not inviting you to "do the right thing" as moderate old seditionists like myself would like to see the matter concluded. Those Roses surrounding GWB's sickbed today as he awakens from his colonoscopy only marginally more deranged than he went into it? They're not from Shane. Or if they are, they were not delivered to the correct department of the hospital.
