I got my blue "Boys From The County Hell" 7" cover and "Sally Maclennane" poster-sleeves signed by the band at the Cambridge Folk Festival. The two Pogues gigs there were probably the best I have ever seen, or at least joint best. I saw them outdoors and got photographs, and, if anyone else remembers the gig, I was the one who climbed up the tent-pole by the stage in the indoor gig autogand heartily sang along in my home-made "A Pair Of Brown Eyes/Whiskey You're The Devil" "T"-shirt which I still have!, and Rocky blew me a kiss lol!. It was probably the twenty-first Cambridge Folk Festival, or maybe the 22nd.. The autographs read as follows:- The Boys From The County Hell 7" FRONT "Maestro Jimmy", "Chevron x", REAR "Josie likes the Pogues", "So does Rocky, xxx", "Love Spider", "Cheers Shane", "Lots of love Andrew Ranken". Sally Maclennane 7" FRONT OUTER "Maestro Jimmy", "Spider x", "Chevron x", "Rocky x", "Love Andrew Ranken xxx", REVERSE OUTER "Love Shane xxx". Phil Chevron was a newcomer at the time to the band at the time. The Andrew Ranken autograph on the Sally Maclennane single goes over a price sticker reading £1.45!. I guess these must be worth a pretty penny now, although they are definitely not be for sale!.
