Hey, my fist post on here but a regular reader for a while.

Anyway was in London yesterday afternoon and visiting a mate in Highgate en route back to the tube i popped into the Boogaloo bar for a swift half and low and behold Mr McGowan was sat at the bar looking fine and dandy in nice pair of Converse trainers!! A bit different from the trademark creepers I must say!!

He was only about for a few minutes before disappearing behind the bar and upstairs, but nice to be in the same pub as the great man albeit very briefly

Navy & White I think

No idea as to his future plans I’m afraid, tho I did hear him say to a bloke at the bar “ see you tomorrow” as he disappeared...!

He was just back from his usual morning run to his regular glass of grape juice... Looks like he does prepare himself for marathon.

Did he raise any money for charity from the marathon run?

Actually the question is "Will he... ?" He is in a process of rehearsing... erm... training now :) But yes, there are certain intentions concerning financial aspect of future athletic mega-event as all loyal fans know: everything he does - he does for Ireland and for money, nothing else ;)

Oh,cause i thought he started on Saturday, but only finshed yesterday.
He could always use his famous wheelchair next year.
With an ace up his sleeve, tie a gin bottle on abit of string let it dangle if front of his blue eyes and away he goes

The idea is it must be RUNNING race. (However sweet "Love your race" motto could work perfectly, just imagine t-shirt with these words and a potrait of main participant!)

Coaching staff is considering different tactics 8)

Wheelchair or no wheelchair,i still think the tactic of the gin on string would help him win.
