did you go see the pogues live/were you a fan before you joined them philip?


Yes, I saw quite a few of the early gigs at the Bull And Gate, the Sir George Robey, The Pindar of Wakefield, Dingwalls, the Diorama etc. I was a fan and a friend, as I'd known Shane since I first went to London with the Radiators in 1977.

Last year my mate and assorted family members of his were going to see them, so i went with them and loved it. Before that i had heared of Shane Mac Gowen, but that was about it.

unless of coure you dont know how to actually spell the word correct then its just down to other reasons ranging from poor education to dementia
