The memory of Philip dedicating 1000's to my girls in Boston. I only wish someone had captured that on video/audio for me.

Has to be my aftershow photos from 2006 in Manchester.

Unfortunately, that was the day Tom McManaman died and the band were not at there best, but it was also the night that Philip dedicated Thousands to me, which was a total surprise, topped off by meeting some of the members of my favourite band after the show.

Glasgow 2005, watching the show stone cold sober, and Philip's dedication to the (then) two of us, followed by the scene backstage, is one evening I will never, ever forget. All of the visuals, and most of the sounds, are etched forever. I was literally speechless for a few minutes. There are many memories, but that one's at the top. Most prized material thing is the vintage RS&TL shirt sent me by the woman I met at the Brazen Head before the show -- Shane had pulled it out of the van for her when they were dating, and she gave it to me because I love the band. I'm still amazed.

Edit: that was two different nights... the Brazen Head was Monday; the stone cold sober evening was Tuesday.

I´m sharing your memory of getting Philip's dedication the same night (although I was far from sober) so that is one precious moment.
Most prized item must be a poster from the gig The Pogues did in my hometown Örebro in 1985. I wasn´t there since the first time I heard of the band was in 88. A friend of mine who was there gave the poster to me a few years ago and I guess it must be one of a kind.

Yes, Philips' dedication is my most treasured "item" as well. You never know when or if it is your "night", so the fact that it is captured only in your heart makes it even more dear. <sigh>

also after spending a night drinking with shane and him making me a spiffy autograph (in photos section) was totally cool.

Never having had a dedication, my pogues vinyl collection has to be the prized item(s), especially the picture discs.

The Guinness obviously thwarted any memories. It was only a fortnight ago in Jamm, Brixton.

I dont know where to start on this one. Prized items everywhere. Pair of brown eyes and The Boys from County hell singles which I got from a litte record shop in Garston Village (its in Liverpool and isnt really a village). The blag book thing that was a couple of quid on the 87/88 tour. Poguetry book, Lost Decade book. Revolution t shirt that is now nine times too small and is in the loft somewhere (really prized then). Anddd most recently my back stage pass from the Liverpool gig which I thought i had lost on the night but found it on my sock the next morning ha ha

Andrew handed me one of his drumsticks at the end of an Electric Ballroom, Camden gig (1990 maybe) - has Pogue Mahone etched/printed into side. Darryl also gave me his plectrum at same gig.... it ended up in a drawer with a bunch of other plectrums and now i don't know which one was his, so i have kept all just in case
Went to Seattle around 2004 to watch a Chelsea Celtic game and stubbled upon Poguetry book in an old bookstore. It was way more expensive than when i first picked the book up in WHSmith in 1990 but sadly i didn't have the tenner to buy it back then...and things seem cheaper after a sunny afternoon in a pub on holiday. Red Roses For Me to Hells Ditch on vinyl. A friend took some cell phone pics of me with James, Jem and Darryl after the Tempe gig....oh and Kozy, a friend of my friend and tech to Terry and Phillip. Pics make me smile...very very very dark, just make out some eyes and teeth and a light in the background, and in those moments i am pretending i am free to be out at 1am and don't really have to be up at 6am with the kids.

Ah, it would have to be the whiskey glass that Shane handed to me at a gig in Dallas in 1987(?) -- I was right up against the stage in front, and kept begging to hear Pair of Brown Eyes. When the song finally started up, he reached over and handed me the glass. It was "lost" for many years; I recently found it, and though it is cracked slightly, I use it on my bathroom counter to store my rings in.
