One thing i found quite amazing was the amount of cocaine being consumed all over the place and it seemed nearly every band thought they had to be taking cocaine. Why is this? Was it like this in the Pogues days? It seemed like it was being encouraged that bands should be taking cocaine. If anything this made me certainly not wish to join in with this mass consumption of cocaine as everyone, i felt, seemed to be doing it just to look cool. I put this in the live section as i assume usually this sort of thing goes on at aftershow parties as well. I know the Housemartins (an excellent band) claimed to have an anti drugs policy but wot about the pogues? I imagine MacGowan, Spider and a few others would be doing it. But the likes of Jem and Mr C? I somehow dont see it. So Mr C, did you too feel the same about this cocaine/band issue as i did when i recently observed it?

Alcohol will kill you just as dead as anything else and cause you just as much misery whilst it is doing it.
