Pogues booklet thing

Post Fri Sep 02, 2011 3:57 am

Does anyone remember a free book that was given away on the 87/88 tour. Its got the Grace with God album cover on the front of it and its some sort of unofficial biography. You can tell its unofficial as every name has a puropseful error ha ha. I was made up with it at the time but it seems a bit poor now

Yeah i have the booklet from the Town & Country March '88. It's official i thought......? It's like a horse racing program i think. Haven't looked at it for years. It's a cool momento.

There's an official Programme for that tour closely modelled on the IISFFGWG album artwork, and a bootleg one that was widely available outside the shows on that tour, alongside some pretty ropey t-shirts. The bootleg has a sort of blue cover, if I remember rightly.
