The Gentleman Soldier - a question

The question is about The Gentleman Soldier from the album - Rum Sodomy and the Lush. When I listen this song I appear that there are two more singers who sing this song with Shane. Maybe I hear wrong but person who sings a verses:
"Now come you gentleman soldier, won't you marry me?"
and
"Oh it's come my gentleman soldier, why didn't you tell me so? My rarents will be angry when this they come to know"
has a very similar voice to Martyn Jacques from The Tiger Lillies ( do you know this band from London? ). There is also samone who sings hoarse voice.. Can somebody tell me , do I hear well or not?
This is my first post here, forgive me all grammatical errors.
Greettings for all The Pogues's fans!

Not exactly. Terry wasn't in the band at the time. All the voices are by Shane, including the O'Casey-esque "Dublin woman" and the Behanesque "Cockney soldier".

Blimey, I've been labouring under a misapprehension all these years!

Sorry for the false info, Mani! You have the correct info from the horse's mouth, so to speak. :)

I guess that's why the Pogues have not attempted that song live, lately. I doubt Shane can sing it that way anymore. Perhaps Terry would be the likely candidate for that hoarse voice, should they try to perform this live someday soon.
This comes to mind: I always wondered what (Spider?) was screaming on Bottle Of Smoke at around the 2:16 point of the song. It sounds something like "God.......Bastards!!" - was it Spider or Shane?

You can see Shane doing Gentleman Soldier with the Popes on the Live At Montreux DVD. I think it's fair to say he buggers it up in places. Though to be fair it must be a hellish song to sing live, not only the different voices but because it's so fast as well.

I always thought it was Shane shouting "Come on ya bastard(s)" but I could be wrong. I reckon Mr C will know the answer though if he happens to read this one.

That's Spider shouting "Come on you bastard(s)" at the Bottle of Smoke. Not since Eliza Doolittle (Julie Andrews) scandalized Ascot by yelping "Come on Dover, move yer bloomin' arse" in My Fair Lady (1956) has a stubborn horse been so eloquently chivvied along.
