I think Shane's mum could join Pogues at Dublin in 2001..
And actually she did it. (20th Dec 2001, The Point)

Yeah, a pic. :)
Anyway, could anyone shed some light on who Lila MacMahon is?

And if you want to hear Shane's mum singing it, it's on the live "Across The Broad Atlantic" album by Shane and the Popes from 2001.

The track listing for the ULTIMATE COLLECTION was not actually finalised when Warners released the information to the Web media. The final listing was OK'd by the band, not by any one individual.

I do find the logic of the other argument a bit strange. Cait has been a member of The Radiators since late 2003 and made a very welcome contribution to the Pogues Dec 2004 tour. Even if it were within my powers, why on earth would I want to "airbrush" her out of the history of The Pogues?

I suspect that some people suffer from paranoid delusions and that you make as good a boogey-man in those delusions as anyone else.

I find myself curious at the rational behind the statement though. This person must believe they have information, or that they've seen you exhibit some anti-social behavior toward Cait, or something that gives them an inkling of suspicion. I'd be really curious to know what this damning information or action was.

Cait was a founder member of the Pogues and plays on half the tracks on the Ultimate Collection. Phil also invited her to join him in The Radiators.

The 'airbrushing' accusation is obvious nonsense and best disregarded as the product of a bored troublemaker. Case closed!

Don't look for a black cat in a dark room, especially if it is not there...
