Thank you, Mr Chevron. That´s an impressive record.

Is it true that "Sayonara" was not released properly and everywhere ? And if so, what was the main reason behind it ?

It was released only in Germany. I don't know why. By then, ourselves and Mr Warners were living on different planets when it came down to choosing singles.

now if we knew the months of those releases we could compare them with the UK Top40, then you'd probably see the likes of Bros & S.A.W that littered the charts at that time.

Oh I do have all the UK top 40/top 75 positions too. But they're widely available. I just thought the lesser-seen Irish positions might be interesting. We had more chart entries in the UK but fewer Top 10s. Everything but "Dark Streets of London", "Boys From The Country Hell" and "How Come" charted, I think I'm correct in saying. All the singles with which I had no involvement, basically.

Any US top 40? I don't think there were any...

The man wandering intently around the stage checking monitor levels during "The Body Of An American" is the late David Jordan (DJ). He worked with the Specials and the Rolling Stones, but mostly, he worked with the Pogues.
