I whistle or sing Streams of Whiskey at various points in the day, every day. After particularly bad days at work I do three or four repeats of it in the car on the way home and it gets my head cleared.
It feels like it's been in my head forever and won't ever be moving out. I love it as much as You've been Cheatin' by the Impressions which is the only other tune to have the same effect on me.

Dark Streets of London and Boys From County Hell.

I was gutted when Boys From County Hell wasn't played on the third night at Brixton last year. :(

All of them - in the same way I can never say I have one track that stands out as my favourite.
Lucky if I can narrow it down to a Top Ten (and even then, not in any particular order) - but would have to include Streams of Whiskey,Dirty Old Town,Dark Streets of London,Dingle Regatta,White City, the opening chords of Bottle of Smoke,If I Should Fall from Grace with God - and virtually every other track (including Spiders "Honky Tonk Women" :D )

repeal if the licensing laws is probably the 'catchiest' song for me. Its excellent when played live at breakneck speed!

I've developed a strong attachment to "London Girl" - the accordion riffs in that song are amazing! I bounce along to the music with a goofy grin on my face - adjacent drivers stare in wonder at the bopping fool in the next lane...
James Fearnley is an accordion God!

I would probably have to say either Sally MacLennane or Body of an American.

Boys From the County Hell or Thousands Are Sailing (whistling the opening bars very badly is great for annoying colleagues!) or Tuesday Morning

The catchiest song to me is the song that you can't forget and you most want to sing along to,

I submit that everyone in here not only knows what follows:

"What'll you have?"

But also had a very strong desire to yell it too.

Therefore I nominate Waxie's Dargle as most "catchy".

Sounds reasonable, tho "i am going, i am going " has a similar effect me thinks

Well, it's caffeine so, yes, it's addictive. But so far, I have not found it life-threatening. I know a bit about life-threatening addictions. For what it's worth, I rarely drink coffee or tea anymore.
