I also just bought the songs from the site to tide me over till my order ships from Amazon. I looked at the people running the site claim that they are legit and pay the correct amount to copyright holders etc. So I really hope they do, and its not some scheme like allofmp3.com used to be.

Dito.

Let's keep the fingers crossed that the planes with our box sets in it won't crash over the channel.

Mine turned up from Amazon today, not had a chance for a proper listen but the booklet and packaging are really good- no expense spared it seems!

Mine's on the way - probably arrive Wednesday/Thursday. Can't wait to get stuck in...

I successfully purchased it using only Amazon vouchers (from surveys and website adverts etc), reached £40 last month. I was determined to do it and I have! :D

My copy arrived today, along with this weekends choice of movie (thank god I don't have to get up early on Saturday to go and pick it up). :D

Looks really good, haven't had time to read the booklet yet, just had a quick glance through, some really great pictures, can't wait to hear it.

Just emerging from a "Just Look them..." marathon listen. Incredible! Sometimes, when you have high expectations, the result is not that for which you had hoped . Not on this occasion. There's lots I have already but so much more that is entirely new to me. The packaging is first class. The notation is excellent. My only quibbles are that James understates the value of drunken boat and Andrew takes the piss on page 48. :D

Thank you so much Mr C for undertaking this labour of love.

It's just arrived, and it is a thing of beauty. Pretty quick from Amazon. Thanks, Mr C, for all your work on this.

Being realistic, I don't think I'm going to get much work done today now...

Just had a listen from start to finish...im so glad im off work today. Utterly superb 8) Early favs after one listen are the Fairytale demos and the stuff with Strummer from 91.

Like the notes too, funny reading Mr Hunt saying he thought Manc 07 was the best gig you'd done together, i recall him saying that to me and my mate in the aftershow bar the night of the gig and him being amazed at how many younger people there were in the crowd.

Must have been a real labour of love putting it together phil.

Off to see Flogging Molly in Manchester tonight im going to be going in there with the Pogues ringing in my ears....!

You guys are making me jealous. I'm glad the box set is great (however, I wouldn't have expected anything else,) my friend Gary, usually orders my Pogues stuff off amazon.com can't order this bad boy quite yet. So pretaining to my earlier post, I might have to bite the bullet and order the box set from Borders (again it will be available to order on June 24, so I will have it in about a week.) On a lighter note, I'm off to see Tom Petty in Bristow, VA this forthcoming Sunday (can't wait.)
