So I wonder if it's safe to say that we (in North America) will NOT be getting these reissues on November 15th?

Anybody?

The press release does not specify geographic release dates - but yeah, I've heard through the rumor mill that the reissues will be imports for those of us not in Europe.

At the moment, these are all European releases, though we're working on US & Canada releases for next year. This was more complicated to organise as our albums had originally come out on Enigma, MCA, Island, Elektra and WEA and required rights clarification.

I'm surprised at how few bonus tracks there are for Waiting for Herb and Pogue Mahone.

They've been in the shops since last friday here in Dublin, I'm sure they're in the UK shops by now. Here's a thread on an Elvis Costello forum that dicusses them.

Listening to the remastered version of Red roses for me right now and.. yeah.. it sure got a kick in the right direction.
I never liked the mixing of the record before, but now; thanks to this, it's alright.. which makes the album even better :) More dynamics, specially in the bass.

And the sleeve that comes with it with the new pictures and such are great!

Also got the new rum & sodomy & the lash. Bet it's great :D
I really liked the poem by Tom Waits in it's sleeve. Great pictures in there too!

Yeah.. just wanted to let you know ;)

"You might want to wait for those editions"

Are the american editions going to be different than the european editions?
