cn any one help me. im a complete amatur with the guitar. i have the chords to play whiskey in the jar. can any 1 tell me if the are major or minor chords. wud b a gr8 help, thanx

If they are designated by just their letter (A, C, etc) they are major chords. If they have an "m" suffixed (Am, Dm etc) they are minor chords. "Whiskey In The Jar" generally has a combination of them.

Now, on a serious note, your wee bro is going to Germany with his school...to play Whiskey in the Jar? This is one of the more absurd organizing principles for a school trip I have ever heard of.

What is the name of the school and why can't they play Whiskey in the Jar at home and go to Germany on their own time?
