Phil,
I have a copy of the Hunted album from Sid and Nancy with the rare version of "Hot Dogs with Everything". You probably already have.[/b]

Thanks Reall, we're covered for that one, yes. Unless you know where the master tapes are.

No release date is set yet for Spain or anywhere else either. We are aiming for an early October 2007 release, but check the front page of Medusa (this website) closer to that time for definite information.
Connect Yourself

I have read about a song that was conceived by Shane during the recording sessions for "Peace and Love". I think the title was "Connect Yourself." It was described as a stab at writing an "Acid House" track. Apparently it went on for about 20 minutes, sounds genius. Is there any chance of getting this on?

You didn't bother to look through previous 10 pages of this thread, did you?

No longer exists I'm afraid.

Personally I'm quite happy it doesn't exist as (a) it now exists only as a fascinating piece of folklore, and (b) there's every chance it would be bloody awful!!
I like the mystery of it... nobody (well, except maybe the band) knows what it sounded like, so we can but use our imagination. Kinda cool in a way.

I have a theory that the band just split "Contact Yourself" into its constituent parts and released in on Peace and Love as a number of separate songs. Like Shane says, all of his tracks on the album are in the house beat. Well they would be, wouldn't they!

Mr. Chevron is the estimated early October release worldwide or only in the UK?

In those glorious days of the interweb, doesn't uk-release sort of automatically mean worldwide release!?

What I meant is, is the box set going to be released in the United States at the estimated release. I remember my Sex Pistols box set was only released in the UK and was hard to find stateside.

Well, the catalogue department of our British record company, previously Warner Strategic Marketing, appears to have merged with US Rhino. Whether this means our releases get more international co-ordination remains to be seen. I always live in hope.
