I managed to finds some o the Lyrics..

Post Sun Dec 17, 2006 7:02 pm

Well afer a long absence from the vynl I heard the Pogues on the radio last nigh. I was riding the highway with 3 o my 4 kids.. Headin North on the highway. Heading back home from a trip to see me brother in Hamilton Ontario Canada. Hamilton's a steel town grown off the backs of the blue collar workers. A town where the itialian Mafia still has it's hold. I was born n bred there as a Irish wanta be. It was Call in in night on the radio and the Radio Jockey had a good Irish Brogue. He was being asked to play the likes of the songs that gets played here in canada. But every once and a while some non-Wannta be's call in and yah here the lilt that calls even those so distant as myself. Could yah play some Pogues fer me. Surely. N what tune yah be wantin?
The Brogue was a little thick even for myself. I missed the title but as it played it apparently claimed :

We pissed on a corner then danced through the night

Well I did say I had a little problem with the Brogue but yah must say it feckin fits!

Since then I've done a little search and it's been pointed out, the error of my ways, it twere a kiss that where exchanged on a corner but I imagine yah could have pissed as well. Could you make it a little easier on a ole sole? Put the damn lryics up in a place where I can find them and then I can learn to translate yer feckin songs the right way!

Cheers from Canada
