I could go on and on about getting the words wrong before I read the lyrics. Hell, that could be a thread in itself. I have butchered Pogues songs, all the while loving what I was thinking I was saying, only to find that I got it horribly wrong. :roll: :lol:

and to add--when i hear Tuesday Morning i still sing "put on pastrami" instead of "bring hell down upon me". who else heard "pastrami " ??

I wouldn't call myself a "big fan," but I like it very much - and it is sung in a very good way imo. Probably it is underrated indeed.

Yes, I think Darryl's backing vocals on that track are brilliant. What a great chorus.

hells ditch is my best pogues album! norcas novena is fucking excellent! if pogues did a new album id want it in the style of that song!

ive got all the songs on mp3 more or less . when ive got a spare 100 quid im going to go buy every album. only heard one song off pogue mahone and it sounded like the verve
