Ehm, my memory may play tricks on me, but can't we see him playing the guitar in the scenes with the rest of the band?

Or am I just assuming that he might be visible playing the guitar, because that would be the most logical thing?

All the band members can be seen clearly, except Philip.

Mr Strummer replaced Philip on the '87 US Tour where the video was shot. So no Phil in the video

With the new technological possibilities wouldn't it be a nice idea to digitally put you in the video? Like what they did with Tom Hanks in "Forrest Gump".
You could have sold the "FoNY"-DVD advertising with the "digitally improved Video".
