Red Roses for Me?

Did The Pogues ever record or play the song Red Roses for Me? Since the first album goes under that title one might expect that they at least played the song live or something. Mr. Chevron, or anyone else - can you shead som light on this?

I don't think the band ever did that song, though the Hell Fire Club (Ronnie Drew, Paul Harrigan, Terry Woods, Eamon Campbell and myself) later did.

That's a shame - fantastic song! Would've loved to hear Shane sing it!

Maybe if, and I say IF, you make a new album sometime in the future, you could include this song - to go full circle so to speak ;)

Yes, excellent suggestion indeed.

I love the versions by Ronnie Drew.
