The covers have the same design, but the versions of A Rainy Night In Soho are markedly, not just slightly, different. There is a great version without horns playing on one of them, whilst the other has horns playing.

I recall having looked for a difference, anmd having found only that, on the cover and labe. The catalogue number is BUY 243, on both the label and the disk. The run-off has "BUY 243 A-1U-1-1 _ x1" and "timton" written on the "A"-side, and "BUY 243 B-1U-1-1 _ x1" and "T>" on the "B"-side.

Think you may be onto something with the run off numbers as my copies [all flugelhorn versions]have
the run-off "BUY 243 A-2U-1-1 _ x1" as opposed to your A-1 run .
Only difference in my copies is one has a small printing cut error in that the top fold has a red line through the bud ad ,which is no way as interesting as a different version of a song but hey . Guess I will just have to wait for the new cd or dig out the MCA Canda casstte .

MCA Canada did a CD also, just for the record.
