Well im sure the pogues aren't too upset not to be no1..after all there is no place in the charts for real music anymore.The x factor was tipped to be no1 whoever sang the bloody song..so its obviously not based on real talent.Manufactured rubbish..half of the public would not even know real music if it smacked them in the face

I went to HMV yesterday to get another one for my friend in japan. But It was already sold out at the HMV and woolworth next door :wink:

So if the other single won this year's Christmas chart, I won't be so up-set.
I know the fact that Pogues is the no.1 at least around the town

theres always going to be millions of pubescent girls buying boy band crap. maybe if shane was on the cover of some of them girly magazines it might have sold more....

In my opinion i don't go after that x factor singles as i never bought it.

And that JCB song bahhhhhhhhhhh i can't believe it beat FONY.

Thats my goal is a song i don't like and i don't like Shayne i am not one of those young girls who goes mad for him. I really think its all manufactured so that big bands don't really get the chance to get the coveted top spot.

I feel the pogues were robbed because of the X-Factor as it would have been aproper xmas no.1 to have.
