READ BEFORE PLACING A BET ON 'FAIRYTALE...'

i feel duty bound to tell you about a conversation with a friend of mine who works in music sales. Now i don't wanna be a harbinger of bad tidings and all that but apparently the 'X Factor' winner is shipping 500,000+ copies of his single - it won't be in the shops everywhere until Wednesday but thats a lot of records and it tells me he's gonna be # 1. In short i don't think it's worth putting your money on FONY.
Whatever happens FONY is still one of the best records ever and there'll be a lot of money raised for a good cause - maybe y' can give your money to 'Justice for Kirsty' as opposed to the bookies. Just a thought.

Bah, I put my bet on last night (well, the early hours of today)

Nah, but seriously, I knew that X-Factor winner is expected to be a shoe-in for the #1 spot. But I couldn't resist putting a fiver on FONY at 50/1 as I'd be kicking myself if I didn't and it got #1.

And lets hope it does, not for the bets but because it deserves to.
