Hi i am new and i want to ask a Whistle Question

I have a Question. I play the tinwhistle at home and i was wondering can u play the tinwhistle notes of FONY on a standard 'D' tinwhistle or do u have to have a different tinwhistle. i would love to play it.

I am authorised by Mr Stacy to confirm that he uses a D whistle on FoNY

By the way I was trying to do the notes of FONY but it seems hard do u have to do it really fast or can u take ur time at it.
