VOTE FAIRYTALE AS THE GREATEST CHRISTMAS SONG OF ALL TIME!

Post Fri Dec 02, 2005 2:14 pm

like Last Year, when the Pogues Won before, VH1 UK are running a poll for the Greatest Christmas Song of all Time, to be announced Friday 16th December - a few Days before the single is released!

now it looks as if the voting is unlimited, so just vote as many times as you can for Fairytale of New York and hopefully, it will win again - as it should! and if last year is anything to go by, it should mean great publicity!

go here to vote:

http://www.mtv.co.uk/vh1/

they're even using a pic of shane to promote it - EVERYONE VOTE AT LEAST TEN TIMES!

Steve Wright said it was voted No.1 yesterday on BBC Radio 2 though I didn't hear which poll he was talking about.

I've just voted on the MTV one.

Philip, I couldn't get through to Warner Music to see if they would hook me up with a Distibutor to sell the single in my shop .....their number was temporarily out of order for several days and I had to give up as it's a bit too mad in the shop now to pursue it further........but have got The Cavalry coming in to let me go to Glasgow though !! :)

Yeah I love White Christmas, but still Fairytale is a truly awesome song. I don't mind Stop the cavalry by Jona Lewie either - Nice and wintery....

I voted for "Fairytale," of course, but I was happy to also see "2000 Miles" by the Pretenders on the list -- that's a gorgeous, fantastic song, too, and definitely my 2nd favorite Xmas song.
