FAIRYTALE OF NEW YORK TWENTY FUCKING FIVE TO ONE NEARLY

Post Tue Nov 29, 2005 12:51 pm

Just put 100 quid on fairytale of new york being christmas number one at odds of 20 to 1 which i thought was worth a flutter. Its between the pogues and the fucking shtihead x factor winner whoever that is going to be. But if this single gets good promotion and every pogues fan in england buys it ill be 2 grand richer!!!
It cant be denied the christmas number one spot twice can it? Its the greatest christmas song of all time!
the bookies have got it wrong this time 20 to fucking 1 my gambling days are done

damn I wish I had the balls to slap a ton on it. Worst thiing of all I tried to put the bet on before holiday and they wouldnt accept cards and the bank was a bit of a trot so I decided to leave it - I went on holiday came back and put 20 quid on 14-1!

be a nice christmas present if they won but even without any money on it if they went to No 1 it would be perfect anyway!

Kirsty MacColl had the finest female voice I have ever heard. This song was robbed of it's no. 1 slot in 87 by the Pet Shop Boys and they had more talent than these reality tv idiots that dominate the charts. Let's put this song where it belongs - and where it was voted last year. At the very top
