What a terrible cover. And I had no idea at all that The Pogues were still performing in 1998.

Seems like they use stuff from the "Completely Pogued Video" as extras for the DVD. The whole DVD lasts for 1 hour 54 minutes - that means we got the "T&C Club Show" + "Completely Pogued" on one DVD! Let's see what we get.

Gonna be an expensive christmas! 7 reissues, this DVD, Shane Live @ Montreux Fest. DVD, hopefully the double Live Album of Brixton 2001. Did i miss anything??

Hmm, one hour and fifty four minutes.
I was kind of hoping they would finaly release the WHOLE concert.

But if Completely Pogued is on there as a bonus I would be happy too.
Always something :)

Would be great to get the Completely Pogued on a DVD. It looks like the people at Eagle vision did a better job on the cover of the Montreux DVD, except for the tracklist. Popes Instrumental is listed as Bring Down The Lamp on the cover. Some song names has been shortened down
No bonus stuff on this dvd sadly.

just looked at the track list for the dvd - http://www2.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=285;5;-1;-1&sku=337407

so unless they played the exact same set its the 1988 gig

I saw the DVD in a shop last week and, though it does have some misleading photos on the artwork, the "1998" appears to have disappeared.

The item appears to contain both the "Town and Country" film and the "Completely Pogued" film.

However, the release has nothing to do with The Pogues. If they'd asked us, we'd most likely have co-operated and suggested additional footage etc.

But I suppose that would actually cost the company money, and that would never do!!

I've seen the TC concert a couple of times and am hesitant to pay for it if nothing new is added to this release. However, I'm not familiar with the Completely Pogued video. What does it contain and would it be worth buying the DVD just for that one?
