Another question :)
Think all of you know this song:
True you ride the finest horse I have ever seen
Standing sixteen, one or two, with eyes wild and green
And you ride the horse so well, hands light to the touch
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to

So please help me to make any sence of the second line.
What is "Standing sixteen, one or two" about? What do these figures - 16, 1, 2- mean? The question may be considered to be a stupid but English is not my native language. So forgive me you native speakers :)

Current version:
height of horse
age of rider
number of route
pints were drunk
stakes were made

I've taken it to mean "sixteen hands, maybe more."

Horse height is traditionally measured in hands.
