Perhaps the Pogues and Westlife should join forces - an Irish Supergroup. Imagine the record sales. All the teenage girlies and all the beerbellied Pogues fans united ..

But do the "teenage girlies" still like Westlife?? Aren't they a bit past it? Is it their mums now?
(We beerbellied Pogues fans can of course be taken for granted... )

Thanks indeed for those links, Mac (although I can't seem to get the second one open) - and I'm with Walshy, what a perfect 1,000th post!

By the way, that's some pic of Shane on the Virgin link; in keeping with the Christmas theme, he looks like a demented elf.

Tell me if you think I am jumping ahead of myself here, but with all the press about fairytale in the battle for No 1. I'm guessing perhaps a 3rd night at Brixton? Should I be saving my pennys and booking another morning off of work? :)
