Manchester. New York arrived in 40 badly labelled tapes and it was not possible to find the needle in that haystack in the time we had.

You could always send those tapes my way. I'd gladly sort through them and send them back...I'd even put a nice label on all of them.

Playing in Paris obviously put the band in suitably mellow mood.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Jaysus, the drink in Paris must have affected me more than usual. I thought they were a bit livelier on the night

That is exactly the way I remember it. Yes, I afraid you were a bit out of control Fr. McGreer.

Just checked back to the Amazon France site. The DVD cover has changed, is that the finished article now?

None of the formats - 2CD, DVD, BLU-RAY, 4-DIsc Special edition and triple vinyl - are correctly listed as yet, not even in France. And items like the Dubliners and Paddy Moloney saying nice things about us were scotched weeks ago. It's fairly common, I think, for preliminary Amazon listings to be sketchy.

If items like the dubliners and paddy maloney have been scrapped, do you now know what extras are included ?

Two excellent French TV shows from 1986 (with subtitles) and the Manchester performance of "Thousands Are Sailing". And a booklet - about 40 pages, I think.
