Christine wrote:DzM, the DVD is on my Christmas list but I am currently very reluctant to buy anything through Amazon because of their tax-dodging here in the UK. I would however happily channel funds through Medusa and was wondering if you can put a link to other shops on the front page? I am not sure who is cleaner, HMV claim they are now shipping, Play.com? 101CD?

Kind of you to offer Christine. Please purchase from any vendor you'd like with the full weight of Medusa's blessing. The raft will survive. :)

I got my copy of the DVD today. Got it on ebay. Now I'll just have to wait for the other formats..

Mr Chevron
How pleased are you and the band with this release?
Did it came out much better then you expected:-)
I was there at both concerts and both concerts is on my top 4 list of Pogues-concerts
Ordered the Limited Boxset yesterday from http://www.WOWHD.se and I see now it's on the way
If you live in UK the limited Box cost £38.49 Free Shipping
Regards
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground. But you'll stick your head back out and shout "We'll have another round"

Hmm, yes, I hadn't got around to checking my HMV account, but now find they're saying the same.

I cunningly split my order between HMV and Amazon (via the Medusa link, of course). So far neither of them seem to have got their asre in gear. Double baxtards.

Decided to wait to buy in HMV. They didn't have it so I've used the front page link to buy it off Amazon. I feel like I tried to go behind DzM's back now!

Besides. Even if it *was* in stock, HMV wanted £28 for it. I've bought it with 1st class delivery for less than £28 off Amazon, so job's a good'un, really.

Notified by Amazon France that both vinyl and box set shipped and projected delivery is Wednesday the 28th. :D

HMV Shops seems to have plenty of the DVD's and CD's in stock, saw a load in the Wigan store this morning.

Really gang - it's OK. I appreciate when you use the affiliate links, but Medusa (and my wallet) will be just fine if you don't use them. Really. It's OK.

If you really feel guilty, though, then you can get an indulgence by clicking on one of those country specific Amazon links BEFORE doing any other Amazon shopping you may have. Medusa gets a cut of any Amazon shopping you do for 24 hours after following one of those links, so even if you do your music/video shopping at HMV you can still send a few pennies way with very little effort. w00t!

I feel as if I'd just pre-ordered in general then I may well have had it today. Not necessarily through the affiliate link, but it's nice to help out, innit?

We regret to inform you that the following items have been delayed:

Pogues "The Pogues In Paris - 30th Anniversary Concert At The Olympia"
Estimated arrival date: December 15 2012 - December 14 2012

Bleeding Amazon....how can HMV in Wigan have them and the tax dodging bastards can't get me one for three weeks?

And, while I am hating them, do they not know that the gap between December 15 2012 and December 14 2012 is a negative number?

Yes, we're all quite pleased. They were very good shows and the audiences were fantastic. Both of these facts are quite well reflected in the end result.
