I never realised that Costello played the drums when Andrew hurt his hand in 85. You learn a new Pogue fact everyday ha ha

He acted once as singer as well, there's a poor-quality bootleg of the event out there.

Absolutely - I'd like to hear the versions of Muirshin Durkin and Waxie's Dargle in particular.

I'm not sure I like the idea of Costello singing Pogues songs. I like the two of them separately but together? I remain unconvinced :|
