But my favorite original Pogues' song would either be Bastard Landlord or Boys from the County Hell. Love the entirety of Bastard Landlord, but those two verses of BFCH really make the song. You know:But now I've the most charming of verandas

Actually now that I think over it more, all of BFCH is absolutely ingenious. I can hardly choose between the three, but I guess I'll have to pick AMYDME as my absolute all time favorite. And there are so many more I wish I could add...
Good choice and welcome aboard The Raft. BFTCH is one of my all time favourites also. Picking a cover version, I'd have to go for The Parting Glass or The Limerick Rake.
