30 years of Fairytale

Post Fri Nov 24, 2017 9:41 pm

NewJerseyRich has let me know that to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Fairytale of New York the lads and lasses of the Brothers Warner pulled together a short Spotify playlist:

https://open.spotify.com/album/1Td8mmayMk0GCjD1AwkFHv

It is, evidently, the original release, the Katie Melua single, and the instrumental.
“I know all those people that were in the film [...] But that’s when they were young and strong and full of life, you know?”

Aaaaand: censored again. "A nasty, nasty song."

Apparently younger listeners are more sensitive than older ones.

The media debate about the censoring or not of FoNY is now a traditional part of the seasonal festivities in the UK.

The S*n apparently includes a photo including an asterisked version of the lyrics in which they still manage to get them wrong. But I won't post it, because it's the S*n.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.
