Here's the best I can figure for the first Fairytale demo. Btw Cait's voice is so pretty here that I wish there was a completed (or at least closer to complete) version from this session.
Good job! Many improvements here on my attempt from a few years ago. Some comments:
"Found a jack in me window" should be "Father Jack and me went there"
"the booze and his boys" should be "the booze running boys"
I think they "said prayers" not "set fires" in Times Square.. It fits with the fact that he is with Father Jack
Your line "It's 41" still sounds vaguely like "it's for the rich" to me
I'm not sure about the line "ton and gins??" but it sounds like he might be using "ton and ginics" as some weird slang for gin and tonics?
Thanks for the help, Mahone! I was grabbing anything out of the air for some of it, I think you can tell. I also first thought it was "said prayers," but it sounds an awful lot like "set fires" even though that seems an untowardly thing for cops to be doing. Maybe they're helping with Christmas bonfires or fires to warm the homeless? And it still sounds like "it's 41" to me, or at least forty something.
And thanks to de burca below for the "tom and jerrys!" I'd never heard of them (not too surprising), but that must be it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_and_Jerry_(mixed_drink)
