October 26 seems like it would fall squarely in the "autumn" category. 8)

I heard that Philip Chevron was the first Irish rock musican in space and that Shane Macgowan is training for a Marathon!

Thanks anyway DzM! The gallery (and entire site) are spectacular. Everyone who frequents this site is indebted to you and the rest of the "team."

Is it possible that the gallery could have some type of icon (similar to the fora) indicating new pictures or maybe, on the front page of the Photo section, a note with the date of the last added picture?

I found this "review" of the gig on a blog Decemberists! Things about tonight's show that I think rock it: ... Them bringing out THE MOPTHERFUCKING ACCORDIONIST FROM THE POGUES (James Fearnley, I believe) for "The Chimbley Sweep" which involved not only some fucking KICK ASS dueling accordion action...

Plan 9

Why was it that the Radiators were renamed "Radiators (Plan 9)." Why not Plan B or Plan 8 for that matter? Maybe this has been asked before - so my apologies if this is repetitive.

EB Kid - Thanks for that "tip" about the Sickbed cover. In fact I was able to find this Mp3 of the Decemberists playing it live. I'd say it doesn't quite have the "bite" of a Pogues treatment but hey, he fucks up the words just like Shane!

Hi James,

I wish I could make it to this gig but I'm a couple hundred miles away...

Will you be playing Decemberist tunes? Any chance of a Pogues or L&S Orchestra number?

Let us know how it goes!

Hills of Connemara

The Popes recording of "The Hills of Connemara" was once posted somewhere online (FOS, Pump Action Paddy) but I can't find it anymore. Anybody know where it is/was?
