Re: Fintan, the performer

Lovely! I usually turn singing guitarists off after a while, but this sounded rather special.

Re: The Saga of Irish Rover And The Crew(censorshoipped edition)

Ummm, why does every topic go towards sex or politics, eventually?

Anyway, if "making Hell's ditch was a monumental error", I don´t know how to call mrs. Palin's birth...

Re: The Saga of Irish Rover And The Crew(censorshoipped edition)

Not bad...to be honest, it´s the first record I´d call music really... I do like it. Those drums are computer made? Anyway, better percussion track would sure add a lot. Nevertheless, it´s nice :-)

Btw, Oirish, in means of backing guitar - you can check PJ's profile on youtube - he plays many tunes with his brother backing him on guitar - very good in my opinion.

Re: The Saga of Irish Rover And The Crew(censorshoipped edition)

It could be worse - the guitar did improve (however, you surely can hear it´s still off in rhytm). To the matter of "singing" - do you plan to cure your angina? Tough review. Fair, but tough. Glad to see you decided to stick around, Pyro. Yeah, sometimes, I do visit Medusa...maybe not tha...

Re: Banjo?

Here's a ukelele performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-al5oqt3nyM For some reason, all the youtube videos are arranged in this awful style where it's either high voiced women and a piano or worse. I don't know much about arranging music, but I can sing a good South Australia, and I know the ...

Re: Banjo?

I'm just looking for the slow one with the verses. Y'know, It was Down by the Salley Gardens, my love and I did meet/She walked round the Salley Gardens with beautiful snow white feet. Banjo tabs for all folk songs are surprisingly hard to find, I guess the market is smaller than guitar. Do you hav...

I'm trying to imagine the potential of that song to be something different, and better, than what it turned out to be. Peace. :) Could anyone deliver the chords so we can try it out ?
