White City.....the tune is definitely The Curragh of Kildare, speeded up a bit.The instrumental at the end of Turkish Song of the Damned...is another 'trad arr'.....Fairports,Moving Hearts, Swarbrick and Carthy and countless others all recorded versions back in the day.

The Dubliners did NOT appear at Pinkpop '88.I was there,took several photos,i stood by the side of the stage, i had a dark beard back then,maybe i was mistaken for one of the 'Dubs'. lol......

Ron Kavana told me that he played on a few of the tracks, Young Ned for sure.....he said it was not a great time for the band.....Shane decided to 'decorate' the walls of one of Rak's studios,this resulted in the bands management receiving a hefty bill for having the walls restored to their original...

Dennis Waterman.Actor.Best known for appearing in 70's and 80's TV dramas 'The Sweeney' and 'Minder' and more recently New Tricks.Dennis Waterman also starred in 'The Lifes and Loves of a She Devil...and, to this day i still have no idea what that series was about. RIP Dennis.
