Re: Imagine a new Pogues album...

Re: NEW PARIS DVD/CD

Wow, long thread! I don't spend near enough time 'round here it seems.

If the 'teaser' is any indication of the quality of thise DVD/CD etc and of the quality of The Pogues' music and of Shane's voice at this moment, it is a beautiful thing!!

Giving up. Can't get in to buy tickets. Enabled session cookies. Log in and nothing. Hit "your account" and everything is correct, but hit "ket Home" and it wants me to log in again...then "session has timed out". Been doing this two days. Figured once the tickets were...

Just tried my mother's laptop, the same laptop that has been used on two occasions to buy Pogues tickets. No dice. Same message(s).

Re: St James Cagney Day 2011

It's 3pm EST and I haven't heard from my buddy to find out if he can go in March or not...or at least which day so I can go ahead and buy tickets.

Let me get this right, presale tickets are on sale through Thursday?

Re: St James Cagney Day 2011

I still don't understand how I happen to miss these announcements until nearly the last minute (sale dates).

I guess I might as well buy tickets, and then see what happens.

Cheers,
Coop

Re: Those wacky Rhino Brothers have us boxed in again!!

If I see this in my local music store, I'll probably buy it. If I see it really cheap on ebay, I'll probably buy it it. But I don't think I'd go to any more trouble to buy it. I don't even have the other box set yet. If it was available to grab off the shelf locally, I'd take it in a heartbeat, but ...

Re: USA East Coast 2010 ???

'Hey, did you go to that Pogues gig last week?'. I'll never forgive myself. When Phil and Terry rolled through town in '03 with the Mahones, I had only heard about it the night before, from my sister, who just happened to be in the neighbourhood. Darn, that was a top secret tour, your sister broke ...
