I agree, chinaski. I often worry that I'm doing this right now. But there seems to be almost no really, really good new stuff out there. At least we cool people know about that incredible stuff from the 80s. That helps me not get too desperate right now.

Neither of my parents (both 50) know who the Clash are. I find this disturbing. Yes, I'm afraid that is disturbing and speaks of youthful years spent listening instead to big-haired rockers. Try them with 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go'.........unrepresentative though it was, it was a US number one....

DC is only a little over 3 hrs by car just picked my son up from school there....I would definately take the end of a West Coast tour in DC ! They did DC this March...here's to hoping for next March! I about went crazy in Hawaii. I was stuck on a little island in a little condo. No room to breathe. ......which begs the question......why were you INSIDE ? We learned that December is the off-season in Kauai (ie, numerous rainstorms every day), and that it's especially bad when you're on the side ...
