I looked at this thread in disbelief and then decided to completely ignore it. My 4 year old comes out with more mature questions: Ciara: Where do you buy cranes? Fr. McGreer: In a crane shop. It would have to have a very high roof though. Ciara: Why couldn't they lay them down? I had to post to tel...

I'll give you a clue..... I used to work for a German company in Nenagh with a beautiful, intelligent, warm and witty girl who made me so welcome as a blow-in. She introduced me to her partner one night in The Kiwi where we stayed until the early hours drinking with his good friend Mr. MacGowan. Doe...

Ha ha ha, I nearly put "The Moon" as one of my own choices but then I remembered that I wouldn't be able to afford to go!

Definately more atmosphere at the moon gig than the Point (except for xmas 06, which was class).

Thanks for that. According to the eejit who hosts the Late Late, she is playing the Olympia in Dublin this year. I'll keep a look out for it.

Plank Kenny was cringe worthy interviewing S & V. Does he not know that Shane will give a considered answer if you give him a few seconds?

Oh God, my tinnitus is worse than ever! Will i ever get sense? I'm not as fit as i used to be either. Had to retreat from the mosh after 20 mins. The atmosphere was electric and that's from someone who hates The Point. A full pit! But room at the back soak it all up, breath in the smell of euphoria ...

Yep, it was shite. I thought shane was in good form. George Murphy's singing was also shite. But credit where credits due, his musicians were pretty damn good. That drummer played like Ranken did in the early years and the box player was class.
