what age would that be?

Depends how old you feel. 104, maybe. Though once you start thinking about it, it probably means the age has come.

The age is also marked by increasingly talking nonsense. Even when sober.

A small glass of sherry before the gig and maybe one after is plenty for anyone.

Sins of careless living are considered destructive and lead to greater sins according to the Seven Deadly Sins. Another concept of sin deals with things that exist on Earth but not in Heaven. Alcohol, in moderation, for example, while good for the (health of the temporal) body, is not of (eternal) transcendental living and therefore it's excessive savoring is considered a sin.

Obviously someone stole your identity in Paris because that guy had more than a couple small glasses of sherry.

If it's going to be the end of the world on Friday, can it be before I have to get the train home?
I would rather not start than not finish especially when I am likely to have a headache.

Especially when "straight to bed" involves a journey of a couple of hours or so. And that's after negotiating the O2's lifts.

Mind you, it is the end of the world the next day, so perhaps it doesn't matter...
