i dont no if anything has been arranged yet but there is alot of manc pogues fans meeting in the weatherspoons in piccadilly and i would love to meet some off the people of this forum so if you are knockin about in manchester before the concert pop in and introduce yourself ... ;-) it would be rude not to !

It is a good couple of miles i'd say, your walking from one end of town to the other really. Oxford Road is not a bad place for a drink, studenty type area but lots of good pubs

Is it a really long hike? When I last did it it didn't seem too far, mind I was kali'd so there is a slight chance that my memory could be playing tricks ;-)
I only ask as i had a really good time there and fancy quaffing a few more there before heading to gig.

Oxford Road area is the best option for a drink bearing in mind the venue. Shambles square is fine for the Arena but miles from the Apollo.

Hello mate, I'm travelling from the sunny North East as well, monkey hanging land ;-) Been across to Manc a few times to see The Pogues and when I have I've had a cracking time in a couple of boozers collectively known as the shambles, easy enough to find, when sober at least, enjoy!
