John, well done on your 200th Pogues gig mate, that takes some doing. Can this be you,an old girlfriend of mine was a student in Freiburg,Germany and she once told me of a guy who got her into the Pogues gig in 1991 or 92,when Joe Strummer was in the band,if this is you,my ex-KYM was well pleased and impressed that she got to see The Pogues and Joe Strummer and all for the price of a beer, make no bones about if you had asked KYM.you would have got more then beer that night. But Kym said you were a propper gent, only too willing to help a fellow Pogues fan.We split up in 1994,i moved to Perth,Kym stayed in Sydney, but she never forgot you John.So once again, congratulations and i hope your liver stands up for the next 200!

What are you doing here making posts? Why are you not too drunk (or at least too social) to work the handheld?

fluke, you're doing it wrong.

Lol.. I saw it sunday but wasn't able te react.. :D Tried to share my excitement with you. My fellow pogue goer goes to the toilet very often so I had some time to fill.. :D Ever wondered why he is called waterboy.. :D

:)

I'm reminded of my frequent pre-show updates from Boston in 2008. :)

Thank you,you are too kind,i am back home in BRUM,i counted, recalled, checked old journals etc so i DID know for sure that The Melkweg gig was my 2OOTH,now for the next milestone, sadly i will have to sit out the rest of the tour,so one or two of you out there now has a chance to catch up!It was great meeting up with some fellow forummites[Fluke, what a geezer]AND thanks to all those who applauded,i really did feel like an old cricketer[apologies to Roy Harper!]

What a great gig last night at the Melkweg,a fitting place to see my 200th Pogues gig, this even got a round of applause when Mr.CHEVRON announced it ,it was great meeting a few of the fanatics in Dan Murphys, keep the faith brothers and sisters, right, now for the 250!

Hey. Long time no post.

Amsterdam will be my first Pogue's gig outside the comfort of the UK and I look forward to it muchly. I am also flying in on the jump-seat of a KLM flight and look forward to that just as much.
Which band has the joy of supporting The Pogues. I am sure it has been answered a few times but I can't find it.

Hope everyone has a great gig and well done John on 200 gigs, nice work if you can get it and all...
