To be fair i quite like Warnock, we (wigan) have had some good run in's with him over the years at his various clubs, Bury,Notts County and Plymouth mainly but of course sheffield united!

He might join us for a drink ;-)

Have a lovely time on Saturday Smoz.. If palace play like they're playing now (1-3) you'll have a super time. Bit jealous now as it goes. I'm fond of them again,. Support us when we're winning moan when we lose.. I'm an awful fan. :D

I've been on my works Xmas do. I have consumed both red wine and Guinness. If a big boy nicked my post and ran away, that's OK, if Gir's half shaft, cam shaft, dynamo, pocket sprocket rocket failed; then that's fine. If my blinker fluid is low, it's all good......................

I swear my post saying my lad and I would be in the D&P contained no abuse of the Oirish Rover, Fintan/Craig or inmyliverpoolhome. Can't see why it was deleted but the original sentiment stands. I will be the one looking like me and the lad will be younger, darker, handsomer and more hirsute. :roll: 8) :lol:

Should be there for about 4 i think, having a bit of a crawl round a few other places in Sheffield first; ( posts on here seem to be going a miss??!)

If you decide not to go to Tykesville on the Saturday there are a couple of pubs in Sheffield where music is the order of the day! The Dog and Partridge on Trippets Lane is an old Traditional Irish pub run for many years by the Flynn family.Doubtless on the SAturday of the gig there will be a few people there with instruments, reciting a few choice tunes and songs, myself included, please God! The other good pub is Fagans, which is just around the corner. The Dog is on the corner of Trippets Lane and Bailey Street and is a great pub, well worth a visit anytime either for a bit of music, a debate or a famous doorstep sandwich! Might see ya there, if so make yourself known!..should be a great gig
