I'm arriving in Dublin around 3-4 PM on Friday, so I'll probably hit the pubs straight away :D
Temple Bar should work fine as well, shouldn't be too crowded that early in the afternoon.

The Olympia is in Dame Street. I think you may be mixing it up with the Ambassador. Temple Bar is certainly more convenient as Dame Street is one of the outer boundaries.

The Celt is a fucking GEM! What are you good folks gonna be doing in Dublin post-Pogues?

I'll arrive there for some work stuff on the 8th December, so if anyone is recovering from The Olympia gig and is heading to The Celt in the next 48 hours of my landing I'll See You On Talbot Street Where The Quality Meet.

Enjoy the Pogues gigs guys! And come have a pint with me in Dublin if you want. :D

Time for a thread bump.

Aslak and anyone else who's travelling. I'll be having a few jars before the Saturday night gig (i'll be at the Friday too, but under pressure just to get to the gig let alone get to a pub before).

The Celt is a good spot but fair walk from The Olympia. Especially if the weather is shite.

Somewhere in Temple Bar would be handy though. "Fitzsimons"?

EDIT: Actually, Fitzsimons is a bit poncy.

May I suggest The Celt, in Talbot Street?

Organised

I'm sure we'll meet somewhere. It looks as though a lot of people are travelling to Dublin so it'll be worth trying. Too early for me to think about it though. I'll check back mid november and we'll have a pint or three 8)
